Frequently Asked Questions

Think of us as the person who helps you make sense of your money and then do something meaningful with it. That means looking at where you are right now, understanding where you want to go, and building a clear path between the two.
In practice, that can include setting up a cash flow structure, recommending investments, reviewing your super, sorting out the right insurance cover, and planning for retirement. But the starting point is always the same: understanding what "wealth" actually means to you — whether that's security, flexibility, paying off the house early, retiring young, or leaving something behind for your kids.
At Zedd Wealth, we don't just hand you a report and wish you well. We work with you over the long term — so your advice grows and changes as your life does.

Whatever you have right now.
We're here to help you build. We regularly start working with people who have minimal savings or investments — the important thing is that you have income coming in and some capacity to move forward, even if that's small to begin with.
Not sure if you're at the right point yet? Just reach out. A quick conversation costs nothing, and we'll give you an honest answer about whether we're the right fit — and if the timing isn't right, we'll tell you that too.
-
The first step is just a conversation, which we do over the phone or on a Teams Video Call — no paperwork, no obligations. We call it an introductory chat, and the whole point is to get a feel for where you're at and whether we're the right people to help.
Most of our clients had never worked with a financial adviser before they found us. That's who we built this for. Once you’ve booked in, we take it from there and give you clear step by step instructions as we progress.

We cover the full picture, not just one piece of it:
Cash flow strategies
Strategic leveraging, debt management and reduction
Investments and wealth building
Superannuation strategies
Strategic asset allocation
Tax-effective financial structuring
Personal insurance
Estate planning
Centrelink and government benefits
Most clients don't need all of these from day one. We start with what matters most to you right now and build from there.

We get this question a lot and we wish the answer were simpler. As licensed financial advisers, we're legally required to conduct thorough research and due diligence before making any personal recommendation. That means every piece of advice we give is backed by a formal Statement of Advice (SOA), even if it's for a single area.
The good news: that process protects you. It means nothing we recommend is off-the-cuff. Every strategy has been properly assessed against your specific situation — not just handed over as a general idea that may not be the best advice.
We have a focused pricing model exactly for this. Reach out for a chat and we will see how we can help.
-
No, we’re not tax agents. We have a network of trusted accountants and tax professionals we work closely with and refer clients to regularly.
-
Lending isn't in our licence, but it's a natural part of many of our clients' journeys, so we work closely with a number of experienced brokers we trust and refer to regularly.
What we do bring to the table: making sure any borrowing decision fits inside a broader strategy that makes sense for your situation, not just whether the bank will approve you.
-
We charge a fixed fee, which means no surprises, and no ambiguity. Before we do anything formal, we'll give you a clear upfront quote based on the value, time, and complexity of your specific situation.
We're not going to quote you a generic number here, because everyone's situation is different and a number without context doesn't mean much. What we can tell you is that our fees are quoted transparently before you commit to anything.
The initial introductory conversation? That one's on us.

Absolutely. We offer flexible after-hours appointments by request, held via video call so you don't need to take time off work or drive anywhere.

Distance isn't a barrier. We work with clients across Australia via video and phone, with proper digital identification processes that make the whole thing secure and seamless.
That said, we're not a fully remote business that forgot where it came from. Zedd Wealth has strong roots in Central Queensland, and we regularly travel to clients in the Coalfields, Rockhampton, Biloela, Moura, Yeppoon, Townsville, and South East Queensland. Technology has changed how we work, but we still value a face-to-face conversation when it counts.
